St. John's holds a class each Spring and Fall for anyone interested in making St. John's their home congregation. Discipleship 101 (or D101) consists of 7 sessions, held 9:15 to 10:15a.m. on Sundays before worship. D101 uses Scripture and Luther's Small Catechism to explore both our faith as Lutheran Christians and our life together at St. John's. Why are we here at 5952 Franconia Road? What do we do? Why do we do it? What are the expectations? New members are received in the worship service the Sunday after the last class. All materials are provided.
