Give Thanks

 "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." (Psalm 46:10)

 The start of November signals the beginning of the end of year frenzy - Thanksgiving, Advent, Christmas, family visitors, travel, and all the tasks associated with ending the year at work and school. And at St Johns we also add in our annual stewardship campaign and a semi-annual congregational meeting. Whew! As your congregational president, I can’t thank you enough for the time, talents and treasure that you contribute to the St Johns community. It’s so easy, as we juggle all the things, to lose sight of what this time of year actually means to us, as believers in Christ. So when I can, when you can, take a moment, be still.
