2026 LENT Devotional Book

In Behold Your King!, Jesus comes to us in flesh and blood a Man, as God's own Son, and as the lowly Servant-King bearing the sins of the world. Though He is forlorn and forsaken, He did not abandon His mission or shirk His obedience to the Father. He followed through-and in so doing won for each of us the forgiveness of our sins and eternal life in His presence.

The service concludes with the solemn stripping of the altar, marking the beginning of Jesus’ passion.

This service will include scripture readings, prayers, and moments of silence as we remember Christ’s suffering and death on the cross. You are welcome to participate by reading aloud, praying silently, or simply listening as we bear witness together to the depth of God’s love revealed on this holy day.

Saturday, April 4 - Great Vigil of Easter

7:00PM* - Holy Communion

Holy Saturday marks the quiet space between the sorrow of Good Friday and the joy of Easter morning. On this most sacred night of the church year, we gather for the Great Vigil of Easter, a service that begins in darkness and moves into light as we celebrate Christ’s victory over sin and death.

Through ancient readings that tell the story of God’s saving work, prayer, and song, we remember that even in the deepest darkness, God is at work bringing new life. The lighting of the Paschal Candle proclaims the risen Christ as the Light of the World, and the service crescendos in joy as we celebrate the resurrection.
