Welcome to our Music Ministry!

Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth;
break forth into joyous song and sing praises.
Sing praises to the LORD with the lyre,
with the lyre, and the sound of melody.
With trumpets and the sound of the horn
make a joyful noise before the King, the LORD.
Psalm 98:4-6

Children's Choir

Our Children's choir is taught during the Sunday School Education Hour (SMCM). The choir is split into two age groups; P3-K, and Grades 1-5. During our time together, we are able to teach songs and provide activities that help children grow in faith. The children sing as part of worship throughout the year.

About the Program

The overall concept of “Friends of Music” is to support the Music Ministry at St John’s Lutheran Church. “Friends of Music” will provide concerts throughout the year, while inviting members of the community to St John’s.

Organ Information

The music at St. John's is led by our beautiful Wicks pipe organ. This impressive two-manual instrument, comprising 16 ranks and 682 individual pipes, fills our sanctuary with glorious sound at every weekly service. After a significant renovation in 2018, the organ is currently undergoing further upgrades to enhance its tonal capabilities. We invite you to experience its rich sound and look forward to our special organ recitals, held once or twice a year.
