Director

Amanda Parks

Ms. Amanda joined our ECEC in July 2023. Amanda received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Special Education from Slippery Rock University in 2007. She taught at an elementary school in Virginia before graduating with her Master’s in Educational Leadership and moving on to administrator positions in public education. Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and watching her children at various sporting events. 

Administrative Assistant

Ms. Kari 

Ms. Kari joined St. John's ECEC in June 2023 as the Administrative Assistant. She has a Business degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and also over 15 years of experience working and volunteering in Elementary, Middle, and High Schools.

Ms. Katia 

Ms. Katia has been working at the ECEC since 2018. She is the lead teacher in the Caring Caterpillars classroom! She received her Child Development Associate (CDA) in 2019. 

Ms. Arabella

Ms. Arabella joined ECEC in April 2025. She is the lead teacher in the Kind Koalas classroom. 

Ms. Dee

Ms. Dee is the lead teacher in the Pre-K Penguins classroom. Ms. Dee has 9 years' classroom experience working with preschool through young elementary students.

Ms. Brittany

Ms. Brittany is the lead teacher in the Pre-K Pandas. She has been working in the early childhood education field for 15 years and has multiple credits in Early Childhood Education.

Ms. Bethel

Ms. Bethel is a teaching assistant in the Caring Caterpillars. She is currently working on her CDA and recently received her Food Manager License.

Ms. Mona

Ms. Mona is a teaching assistant in the Pre-K Pandas. She is currently working on her CDA and recently received her Food Manager License.

Ms. Margarita  

Ms. Margarita has been at the ECEC since August 2016. She has her CDA and continues to receive training in Early Childhood Education each year. She is a teaching assistant in the Kind Koalas room.

Ms. Maria 

Ms. Maria has been working at the ECEC since August 2021 and is an assistant in the Pre-K Penguins. Ms. Maria ran her own state-licensed in-home daycare for over 25 years before joining us. She is also a customized home-based baker.

 Ms. Winter

Ms. Winter is new to the ECEC and plans to study Early Childhood Education.  She currently floats between all of our classrooms as she gets to know the students!

Ms. Glenda

Ms. Glenda has been working at the ECEC since 2022. She is currently studying Education at George Mason. Ms. Glenda is a teaching assistant in the Caring Caterpillars.

 Ms. Ivy

Ms. Ivy joined the ECEC as a part time teaching assistant in July.  She will float between the classrooms and assist where needed.

Ms. Teresa 

Ms. Teresa has been working at the ECEC since 2015. She has her Food Manager License and is our kitchen manager. She also assists teachers in all classrooms.

Ms. Emily 

Ms. Emily joined ECEC in July. She will work primarily in the Pre-K Penguin classroom but will assists teachers in all classrooms as needed.

Ms. Malikea 

Ms. Malikea is brand new to ECEC!  She will be assisting in the Pre-K Panda room and we are so excited to get to know her!
