DirectorAmanda ParksMs. Amanda joined our ECEC in July 2023. Amanda received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Special Education from Slippery Rock University in 2007. She taught at an elementary school in Virginia before graduating with her Master’s in Educational Leadership and moving on to administrator positions in public education. Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and watching her children at various sporting events. |
Administrative AssistantMs. KariMs. Kari joined St. John's ECEC in June 2023 as the Administrative Assistant. She has a Business degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and also over 15 years of experience working and volunteering in Elementary, Middle and High Schools. |
SupervisorMs. KatiaMs. Katia has been working at the ECEC since February 2018. She is the lead teacher in the Kind Koala classroom! She received her Child Development Associate (CDA) in 2019. |
SupervisorMs. RebecaMs. Rebeca has been working at the ECEC since 2018. She is the lead teacher in the Bright Butterflies classroom. She has her CDA in preschool and is working towards her Associate's degree in Early Childhood Development from NVCC. |
Ms. DeeMs. Dee Is the lead teacher in the Caring Caterpillars classroom. Ms. Dee has 9 years' classroom experience working with preschool through young elementary students. |
Ms. Caroline Ms. Caroline is a lead teacher in the Pre-K Pandas. |
Ms. Brittany Ms. Brittany is a lead teacher in the Pre-K Pandas. She has been working in the early childhood education field for 15 years and has multiple credits in ECE. Ms. Bethel Ms. Bethel will be an assistant in the Pre-K Pandas. She was excited to join the ECEC team this October and meet all of the children. |
Ms. MargaritaMs. Margarita has been at the ECEC since August 2016. She has her CDA and continues to receive training in Early Childhood Education each year. She is a teacher assistant in the Bright Butterflies room. |
Ms. MariaMs. Maria has been working at the ECEC since August 2021 and is an assistant in the Kind Koalas. Ms. Maria ran her own state-licensed in-home daycare for over 25 years before joining us. She is also a customized home-based baker. |
Ms. JulieMs. Julie has worked at the ECEC since early 2020. She serves as a floater/assistant and helps in all the classrooms. Ms. Julie also has her Food Manager License. |
Ms. RebeccaMs. Rebecca has worked at the ECEC since 2019. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from The University of Maryland at College Park and her Master’s degree in Community Health Education from Towson University. She serves as a Teacher's assistant in the Caring Caterpillars classrooms. |
Ms. IzzyMs. Izzy has been working at the ECEC since August 2021. She is a Teacher's assistant in the Kind Koala's classroom. |
Ms. GlendaMs. Glenda has been working at the ECEC since May 2022. She is sShe is currently studying Education at NVCC. Ms. Glenda is a floater/assistant and hellps in all of our classrooms. |
Ms. MarthaMs. Martha started working at the ECEC in August 2022. She serves as a floater/assistant and helps in all of the classrooms. |
Ms. TeresaMs. Teresa has been working at the ECEC since August 2015. She has her Food Manager License and is our kitchen manager. She also assists teachers in all classrooms. |
