English Classes for Adults
To register for spring classes, please check back here in January.
Class Dates: February 13 to May 2, 2024
Morning classes: 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays
Evening classes: 7:30 p.m. - 9 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays
Class levels:
Introduction to English (Morning class is on Zoom. Evening class is in person.)
English 1 (Morning class is on Zoom. Evening class is in person.)
English 2 (On Zoom)
English 3 (On Zoom)
English 4 (On Zoom)
Cost: $40 for books.
Location: In-person classes are held at St. John's Lutheran Church, 5952 Franconia Rd., Alexandria, Va.
Process: After you register, you will receive an email asking you to sign up for a Zoom assessment. A teacher will ask you a few questions to decide the best class level for you. After you are assigned to a class, you will receive an email with the date and time to buy your books.
